Christian Lacroix‘s capsule collection for La Redoute was such a hit he’s signed on for another season. Now, the catalogue giant is said to be seducing French icon, Francoise Hardy.
Hardy, who is now 63 and lives outside of Paris, is a singer/actress who rose to fame in the 1960′s with songs like “Tous les garcons et les filles,” and “Le Temps d’Amour.” In 2000, she made a comeback with a new CD release, Clair Obscur.
Her beauty and franco-chic made her a muse to artists like Balenciaga’s Nicolas Ghesquiere, and Bob Dylan . In the 60′s/70′s she was iconic for her sexy messy hair, golden fringe, and menswear-inspired clothes. Today, she is the epitome of classic French style.
Let’s hope she signs on with La Redoute. We could all use a low priced way to look effortlessly française!
