Chanel Rouge Allure: Bardot still a sensation!

21 Apr

A new commercial by Chanel, celebrating the anniversary of Rouge Allure lipstick, has gottten the nix from the Television Bureau of Canada. And what do you know, our girl BB is at the center of it all!

The bureau does not allow nudity in commercials and wanted portions to be pixilated so that shapes of the actress’s body are blurred out. Chanel’s directors announced that it would not compromise the artistic integrity of the clip. Good decision marketing department! Now everyone wants to see it. (click above)

The commercial spot was inspired by Bardot’s 1963 movie Le Mepris (Contempt)– directed by Jean-Luc Godard at the height of BB’s glory. It shows a sexy swiss model (Julie Ordon) rolling around in bed in front of a man, saying “Tell me, I want to know — do you love my mouth?” and then provocatively applying lipstick. (Great lipstick by the way, I have the one in the commercial- it is number 27 – “excentric”)

Professionally shot by acclaimed photog Bettina Rheims, the short clip even uses the classic soundtrack! Decide for yourself if this is too porno chic! Granted, this model looks no older than 16 but .  . . . she’s really 22.
